Steel Zero Presentation

16th April 2020 - 17th April 2020

Energy Transitions will be presenting a paper entitled, ‘Investigation of a solar-assisted heating system’, at the CIBSE 2020 Technical Symposium. The authors of this paper include: Gareth Davies, John Blower, Richard Hall and Graeme Maidment.

Details of the Conference:
Mitigating and adapting for a changing climate will reshape the engineering of the built environment and the systems which make our buildings habitable. This will influence not only what is built but importantly must inform the procedures and processes for maintenance and refurbishment to ensure lifelong effective operation, low environmental impact and occupant safety and wellbeing.

The intended context of the Technical Symposium is to focus on aspects that are of interest to ASHRAE and CIBSE members and the wider society including building related energy, acoustics, comfort, IEQ, acoustic, electrical systems, fire safety, IT, lighting, thermal performance, public health, internal and external transportation, facilities and information management, security, ventilation and associated standards and systems.

The tenth annual Technical Symposium looks to encourage the participation of both young and experienced industry practitioners, researchers and building users to share experiences and develop networks.
Not just for Academics…

The Symposium committee is keen to encourage the presentation of slides to illustrate case studies supported by brief keynotes, as opposed to a formally reviewed paper. This could be suitable for practicing:

Designers
Contractors
Consultants
Commissioning engineers
Controls engineers
Building operators
Building maintainers
